Martin, Marietjie & Leia

Leia: Her name derived from Princess Leia, she certainly thinks she is a princess and she’s got the curls to match. However, true to her dachshund nature, she is the mischievous one in the family, always barking, alway hungry, alway demanding attention.

Marietjie: Bubbly and friendly, but also calm and collected, basically the only normal one in the family. The loving, caring one in the family, Leia will always go to her for cuddles and kisses, and will come to me to play. The family will not be a family without her, she is the glue that holds us together.

Martin: The energetic, cannot sit still, the always busy one in the family – this sounds like Leia, but even she enjoys her beauty sleep a lot more often. I try to bring the excitement to the family, I hope they enjoy it, but I think mostly they just tolerate it.
